A little about your session…. The important thing to keep in mind during your family session is let your kids, be kids. Some times kids don’t want to smile… sometimes they need a few minutes to warm up to being photographed.. sometimes they just want to run and jump and play and not sit still.. all of that is OK!
If you want to all wear white, khaki or denim and stroll the beach we can certainly do that. But if you’d like truly like to take home images that mean the world to you, that show you the most amazing things about your family, let’s spend some time playing during your session. Let’s take a few moments and let your kids get dirty, wet, sandy and allow them to let their personalities come out. In those sweet moments we will find the best images. So relax, let’s have some fun and trust the images you get will just be like the ones on my website.

Sessions are $750 for a family of up to 5 people ($1,000 for large groups of up to 10. Groups larger than 10 will be quoted based upon size) Please take a moment and fill out the info below. Payment for your session can be made via cash, Venmo (@joemikos) or check on the day of your session. I will be in touch as the time gets closer so we can choose the best day/time to meet up while you’re here.

FAQ’s
1. “How long will the session take?” For timing purposes I would budget two hours. The actual session will take about an hour or more if we’re doing a wardrobe change or need to change a dirty diaper. 🙂
2. “How many photos do you typically provide from a session?” For the average family session I will provide about 150-300 images. I shoot a lot of photos, both posed and unscripted. If you’d like to see a recent family session I’ve done, just ask!
3. “What does the session fee include?” The session fee includes the time it takes me to photograph your family and all of the retouching done to those images back here on the computer. I typically spend about 4 hours retouching for every hour I’m shooting. The fee also includes hosting all your photos in my online gallery which allows you to download, print and share them!

4. “Do you sell digital files and prints?” The high resolution digital files are included in your session fee! If you opt to have me make the prints, print costs are $7 (4×6), $15 (5×7), $22 (8×10). In your online gallery you’ll fine a large selection of print sizes and products to choose from. You can always download the photos and make prints at your favorite local lab. It’s really up to you. The benefit of having me make the prints is you’re guaranteed the very best quality prints from your files and i’m happy to take retouching requests! 🙂
