Joe Mikos
Joe Mikos would like you to know that this talking about himself stuff is rather tough going, but he’s glad you’re curious. He’s willing to admit he’s pretty good at remembering things like his airplane seat assignment from 12 years ago. He’s also pretty good at remembering faces — the parents, the flower girls, the fathers of the bride who swore they wouldn’t cry — from the hundreds of weddings he’s had the privilege of shooting across the country. Somewhere along the way, he became the guy people ask for when they want their day photos done right, though he’d never say that about himself (see: first sentence of this bio).
Despite the fact he shoots literally all over the world, he takes a lot of pride in relating to you, the intricacies of the event, but mostly, the day you’re already imagining in pictures. He still gets nervous on your big day, too. Though you might not think these little details mean much when it comes to choosing your photographer, they’re exactly the kind of things Joe somehow manages to find, and capture, in you.
